The built-in Class B AIS allows real time information exchange between AIS equipped vessels by transmitting your vessels details such as Name, Position, MMSI Number, Speed & Course.
The KP-8299A also receives Class A & Class B AIS data which is displayed and overlayed on the chartplotter display or on the dedicated AIS Target page.
The KP-8299A also features a built-in Onwa K-Chart for UK & Ireland or the user can use a C-Map Max chart if preferred.
